Apologies Im typing this in english, I am learning the language and hopefully you should see the change soon. Just not confident in writing yet.

Im bringing my bike over next week from the UK and I used to use a site in UK called CBRforum.org. Excellent site, hooked up with some good bikers and enjoyed some of UK's roads.

Now Ive moved here, to Vallentuna. Im still new, not sure of any good bike routes and places to go etc. SO hopefully with this site I can meet few people and enjoy your scenary and especially your long days

I can even help with some tips too, my bike, is Honda CBR600rr 2003, K&N Air and Oil filter. Stainless Steel exhaust straight through. Down one notch at the rear and up one notch at the front. Power Commander and Dyno tested.

Some tips on insurance would be cool too, jeez its expensive here.

Well Vallentuna is really a good place to be since there is a lot of excellent bike roads really close. Keep an eye out for "norr runda" or Roslagen, northern routes which tend to be around your neighbourhood. Also keep an eye open for the wednesday groups (onsdags-åka/körning) which could be an excellent way of learning some new roads, and see some new faces.

The insurance thingy over here is like a lottery just call all the companys and check the price..(folksam/salusansvar/if/trygghansa/länsförsäkringar etc) most bikers over here with sportsbikes normally just have "half" insurance due to the price.. still includes theft protection and stuff like that.. it just dont cover repairs on your bike if ya plant it into a ditch or something similar. Also check with IF if they still have a special honda insurance, I'm not sure if the supersport bikes are included tho.

Thank you, Ill keep that in mind. I can run mine on euro cover for short period until I register it over here. I cant let it stay in the garage when I bring it over, not fair. Its Been at a friends in storage whilst I Been here.

Tried calling for insurance, but they wont give me a real quote as I havent got a number plate, and they dont do a quote like in the UK on engine and model, has to be the plate. Tsssss

So I have to take a photo of a reg plate of a similar bike, year. And then ring them back.

Do people organise track days over here? Are there any good ones?

Since u got a honda u can always check out their own "brand"insurance.
Or go to a bikedealer and "borrow" a licensnumber from a bike that´s simular to your own. Then call the insurancecompanys.

Thank you, ill be saddle sore when I come over, nightmare of journey ahead of me. Ill be on my UK insurance for short while until I get it all sorted. But definately need a licence plate tho, 2003 600rr.
