Sorry about the english (my use of the language...not the people but my swedish sux so I was hoping you all might better understand my english.
Was wondering what, if any, interest there might be out there in setting up something like a SV650 / twins racing series? Similar to something like they have in the UK / the states. linky
I've got the B-lic...wanting to get back into racing...but I'm having trouble choosing a class due to the lack of selection. Seems like there's just 2 stroke 250's, 600's, or 1000's.
250's were fun...but been there done that. 1000's...tires are too damn expensive. (2-3 sets a weekend...and my fat arse is way to slow to get sponsored) 600's...My experience with the 600 classes back in the states was:
1 - Overeager riders, younger riders with something to prove
2 - Huge grids which means tons of traffic
I'd love to find a class for the older guy, who's looking for:
1 - Cheap(er) form of racing
2 - Fun competitive environment
3 - Smaller grids
4 - Older riders
Back home we had lightweight twins, sound of thunder series, production twins, etc. They usually attracted the older, racing4fun racer.
Is there any desire out there for such a series that we could ask SVEMO to create such a class? Or am I just an ol'fat foreigner barking up the wrong tree.
