The stranded Irishman

One day an Irishman, who had been stranded on a deserted island for over 10 years, saw a speck on the horizon.
He thought to himself, "It's certainly not a ship"
As the speck got closer and closer, he began to rule out even the possibilities of a small boat or a raft.
Suddenly there strode from the surf a figure clad in a black wet suit. Putting aside the scuba tanks and mask and zipping down the top of the wet suit stood a drop-dead gorgeous blonde!
She walked up to the stunned Irishman and said to him, "Tell me, how long has it been since you've had a good cigar?"
"Ten years," replied the amazed Irishman.
With that, she reached over and unzipped a waterproof pocket on the left sleeve of her wet suit and pulled out a fresh package of cigars and a lighter.
He took a cigar, slowly lit it, and took a long drag. "Faith and begorrah," said the castaway, Ahh "that is so good! I'd almost forgotten how great a smoke can be!"
"And how long has it been since you've had a drop of good Bushmill's Irish Whiskey?" asked the blonde.
Trembling, the castaway replied, "Ten years."
Hearing that, the blonde reached over to her right sleeve, unzipped a pocket there and removed a flask and handed it to him.
He opened the flask and took a long drink. "Tis nectar of the gods!" shouted the Irishman. " 'Tis truly fantastic!!!"
At this point the gorgeous blonde started to slowly unzip the long front of her wet suit, right down the middle. She looked at the trembling man and asked, "And how long has it been since you played around?"
With tears in his eyes, the Irishman fell to his knees and sobbed, "Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Don't tell me that you've got golf clubs in there too!

A guy goes to the Local Council to apply for a job.
The interviewer asks him, 'Are you allergic to anything?'
He answers 'Yes - caffeine'
'Have you ever been in the services?'
'Yes,' he says. 'I was in Iraq for two years.'
The interviewer says, 'That will give you 5 extra points toward employment,' and then asks, 'are you disabled in any way?
The guy says, 'Yes ...a bomb exploded near me and blew my te$ticle$ off.'
The interviewer tells the guy, 'O.K. In that case, I can hire you right now.
Normal hours are from 8 AM to 2 PM.
You can start tomorrow at 10:00 - and plan on starting at 10 AM every day.'
The guy is puzzled and says, 'If the hours are from 8 AM to 2 PM, why don't you want me to be here before 10 AM?'
'This is a council job,' the interviewer says.
'For the first two hours we just stand around drinking coffee and
scratching our bolloxs, not really any point in you coming in for that.'

Last month a world-wide survey was conducted by the United Nations.
The only question asked was:-
"Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions
to the food shortage in the rest of the world?"
The survey was a huge failure because of the following:
1. In Eastern Europe they didn't know what "honest" meant.
2. In Western Europe they didn't know what "shortage" meant.
3. In Africa they didn't know what "food" meant.
4. In China they didn't know what "opinion" meant.
5. In the Middle East they didn't know what "solution" meant.
6. In South America they didn't know what "please" meant.
7. In the USA they didn't know what "the rest of the world" meant.
8. In Australia they hung up as soon as they heard the Indian accent.

Ej För Flygrädda!
Efter en flygning skriver piloten ut en felrapport, därefter får mekanikerna en felanmälan och bedömer vilken reparation felet kräver. Blanketten är ett papper som piloten fyller i och mekanikerna läser för att sedan reparera felet. Mekanikerna skriver sedan, på blankettens nedersta del, vad de har gjort för reparationer och piloterna läser därefter igenom rapporten till nästa flygning.
Ingen kan påstå att personalen på marken och mekanikerna inte har någon humor. Här är några verkliga, registrerade felrapporter över behov av underhåll och problem, som Quantas piloter har skrivit. Samt vilken lösning som underhållspersonalen har skrivit
P=Problem inlämnat av piloten.
S=Svar från mekaniker.
P: Innersta hjulet på vänster sida borde nästan bytas.
S: Har nästan bytt ut det innersta hjulet på vänster sida.
P: Testflygningen gick OK, bortsett från att den automatiska landningen var något hård.
S: Det är inte installerat något automatiskt landningssystem på detta flygplan.
P: Propeller nr.2 får inte nog med smörjning.
S: Smörjning till propeller nr.2 är OK. Smörjning till propeller nr. 1, 3 och 4 är felaktig.
P: Någonting sitter löst i cockpit.
S: Någonting sattes fast i cockpit.
P: Döda insekter på framrutan.
S: Levande insekter är restade i lagret.
P: Autopiloten ger ett fall på 200 fot när flyghöjden skall låsas.
S: Kan inte återskapa problemet på marken.
P: Tecken på läckage på höger sidas landningsställ.
S: Tecknet borttaget.
P: Ljudet i intercom är otroligt hög.
S: Ljudet i intercom inställt till en mera trovärdig nivå.
P: Mothållslåset får gashandtaget att sitta fast.
S: Det är liksom det det är där för...
P: Misstänker att det är en spricka i framrutan.
S: Misstänker att du har rätt.
P: Saknar motor nr.3.
S: Motor funnen på höger vinge, efter kort sökarbete...

S: Flygplanet har beordrats att ta sig samman, flyga ordentligt och vara lite mer seriöst.

S: Har omprogrammerat radarn till att tala.

P: Katt installerad.

Mannen var ute och provkörde sin nya sportiga Audi.
Han fällde ned taket och tryckte på gasen.
När han körde över 160 såg han blåljus bakom sig.
Han hade blivit något fartblind och tänkte att polisen kan väl aldrig köra
ikapp honom.
Han tryckte gasen i botten, men när han närmade sig 200 började han att
tänka, -Vad i helvete håller jag på med? och så svängde han av och
stannade vid vägrenen.
Polisen kom fram till bilen, skakandes på huvudet, med böteslappen i
handen.
-Det har varit en låååång dag med många idioter som du ute på vägarna,
mitt
pass är snart slut och det är dessutom fredag den trettonde.
Jag har ingen lust att avsluta dagen med en massa papperstrassel.
Jag lovar att släppa dig om du kan lämna en riktigt jävla bra förklaring
till fortkörningen. Och det skall vara en som jag inte har hört tidigare'.
