Definitivt ett nerköp att ta in Sete igen som tidigare visat sig svag i nerverna..

Vilka utöver de självklara tycker du har bättre nerver?

Jag kräktes på Sete när han körde, men av någon underlig anledning så hoppas jag nu att han kommer tillbaka och gör bra ifrån sig.

Andrea Dovizioso verkar ha bra standard och körningen som ledde fram till 4:e på Laguna i Juli lovar gott. Han har som övriga på Michelin såklart lidit stort i år, honom vill jag se på Ducatin.

Dovi har ju härdats av Lorenzos tidigare framgångar och klarat det bra och utan att bryta ihop som ett korthus i depå..

Visst! Hoppas såklart inte på förhand att d ska skita sig för nån, men Sete..

Nicky Hayden has finally confirmed he definitely won’t be a Honda rider in 2009, with an announcement expected soon on his switch to join Casey Stoner in Ducati’s factory team.

Hayden has become increasingly disillusioned at Honda’s favouritism towards Repsol team-mate Dani Pedrosa, and in today’s pre-event press conference for the inaugural Indianapolis GP, the American confirmed his HRC departure.

Hayden, who is still on crutches with the cracked heel in his right foot still hampering him six weeks after he damaged it during practice for a Supermoto appearance in the Los Angeles X Games, said:

“I mean it's no secret. Everybody knows where my next stop's going to be. But officially we're waiting on doing it the right way until the releases come out because there's teams and stuff. But I'm looking forward to it.

Hayden was also asked if there was any truth to a rumour that he could split with Honda before the end of the current campaign, but denied the suggestion and responded, `I do not have any intention not to do the rest of the season with Honda. That seems crazy. That was what some people thought after Misano but I owe it to Honda to go out and race. I think they know that, or at least the guys in my team do. I am not going to lay down until the very end at Valencia. Unless they lock the door over there on me I am going over there and getting on the bike!´

`It could happen,´ quipped Hayden light-heartedly. `There are probably people in that box that if I didn´t show up would probably never notice! But no, I plan on going to race.´

Exakt tvärtom elwe! Nicky ska såklart hedras stort att han överhuvud taget VILL sitta kvar på rishögen från HRC tiden ut. Efter allt strul i det teamet så skulle vilken normal förare som helst mycket tidigare fört mer väsen av sig. Hedersamt, lojalt och moget handlat av Nicky som växer mer och mer i mina ögon.

Elwe, jag håller med dig på ett sätt, Hayden är inte en av mina favoriter men fan vet, han kan nog bli bra.
Han är trots allt f.d. världsmästare i MotoGP och han har styrt "bucking Broncos" i SBK vilket man tydligen behöver kunna för att hantera Duccen.
En annan positiv sak med detta är att det inte blir nån Sete hos Ducati.

Och enligt Mamola var Elias redan klarför Gresini. Guintoli ryktas ev. till Yamahas WSBK team (ersätta Corser om han byter?) samt att Aspars enda alternativ till en spansk förare nu verkar vara en retur av Carlos Checa på en Aspar Kawasaki då sponsorerna kräver en spansk förare och alla nu verkar upptagna.

Gibernau ska väl isf köra i Ducati Onde 2000 som kommer drivas av Pablo Nieto och hans bror. Nieto är född 1980 så han måste bli den yngsta någonsin att driva ett MotoGP team isf...samt att han nu kör 125Gp och ev. ska byta upp till 250GP nästa år.

Sen sa de också att Kiyonari kan komma till Repsol 2010 om inte Pedrosa lyckas ta titeln 2009...mycket spekulationer

Marco Melandri will ride alongside John Hopkins at Kawasaki next season.

Kawasaki has officially confirmed what Marco Melandri announced in mid-August; that the Italian will ride a ZX-RR in MotoGP next season.

Melandri surprised Kawasaki by stating that he was joining the team before the deal was fully complete. However, after 18 months of negotiations, a two-year contract has now been signed that will see the former MotoGP World Championship runner-up replace Anthony West.

"We started talking to Marco about riding for Kawasaki at the beginning of 2007, but contractual obligations on his part meant that it wasn't possible to secure his services for this season," explained Kawasaki Competition manager Michael Bartholemy. "Since that time we've kept in close contact with Marco's management company, which meant we were able to reopen negotiations immediately we heard that he would be available in 2009."
