Milk souring Kurtis Roberts is preparing once again to set the track alight by making a sensational return to MotoGP at the final round in Valencia.
The 'designed for radio' American rider rode his debut MotoGP season in 2004 but found himself without seat for this year's championship. Some say this was because of economic politics whilst others argued that it was because he'd finished last in championship, scoring just one point and spent most of his time on the sick.
But whatever the technicalities Kurtis was forced to once again to dominate the AMA Superbike series finally finishing in a desperately close 16th position a mere 339 points behind eventual winner Matt Mladin.
Kurtis Roberts's long overdue MotoGP call up has come from the un-KTM Team KR squad - a team that, totally and utterly coincidentally, happens to be run by Kenny Roberts the Senior - father of Kurtis. Team KR were left rider and engineless mid-season after KTM decided to pack up their lederhosens and pastries and catch the next ski-lift home. KTM took their credit cards too meaning Team KR had no cash to attend the flyaway races and that Kenny Roberts was unable to 'dip in' again to get the sills repaired on his rusting 1989 Ford Escort.
However with Valencia only being a mere 16-day drive away for the KR Team lowloader the team looks certain to attend the event. Furthermore only the baboon-quarantine visas need to be sorted now to allow Kurtis and his trainer to pass safely through the borders to the final round.
"I have lots of unfinished business in MotoGP" stated Kurtis possibly referring to actually scoring points "I feel unfairly treated last year and now it's time to show Rossi and his clan the combined power of a Roberts and a Proton."
The world waits for lap six when Rossi and Kurtis are calculated to meet on the track.

Så Tech3 ska köra Yamaha ändå nästa år? Vore bra.
